Charlotte Tilbury offer some of the most famous lipstick shades on the market. Loved by celebrities, models and the general public alike, every makeup wearer has either heard of them, have them or want them. Given how many shades the brand has in their portfolio, it’s sometimes hard to know which shade to go for.

In this article, I’ve chosen a selection of my all-time favourite colours from the brand. I have very fair skin with a subtle yellow undertone, so I feel my best and most comfortable in neutral shades that don’t pull too warm or too cool against my complexion. While of course, my favourites won’t suit absolutely everybody on the planet, the shades that I’ve chosen can all be adapted to suit so many skin tones with your lip liner of choice. So, without any further ado, here are my favourite lipstick shades from Charlotte Tilbury that I’d recommend to try. I hope you love them just as much as I do. Now, let’s get into it…
PILLOW TALK (MATTE REVOLUTION)
An iconic product that has truly stood the test of time in the beauty industry. Being one of the most purchased lipstick shades in the world, it’s not hard to see why Pillow Talk is such a classic colour. As a natural pink, it doesn’t fall into the category of being too warm, too cool, too dark, too light or too bright. It’s a great everyday colour that looks amazing with lots of different eye makeup looks and outfits. If you require a deeper version, it also comes in Pillow Talk Medium (Matte Revolution formula) and Pillow Talk Intense (K.I.S.S.I.N.G. crème formula).
JK MAGIC (K.I.S.S.I.N.G.)
If you’re like me and love a good nude lipstick, JK Magic is an amazing option as it isn’t too warm nor too cool, and isn’t too light either. It pairs beautifully with an array of different lip liners to mould the colour into a tone that suits your preference or desire for that particular day. My favourite lip liners to use with JK Magic are Iconic Nude (Charlotte Tilbury), Pillow Talk (Charlotte Tilbury) and Whirl (MAC Cosmetics).
VERY VICTORIA (MATTE REVOLUTION)
Very Victoria is my favourite lipstick of all time. As a darker nude, it’s a rose-brown with buildable pigmentation that suits so many skin tones, whether you’re super fair or have a deeper skin tone. It’s absolutely stunning, and is my go-to everyday shade throughout the autumn and winter months. Loved by the likes of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, it’s a true classic and I will always have it in my collection.
COVER STAR (MATTE REVOLUTION)
Cover Star is a very light nude with a neutral undertone. It’s amazing to pair with a smoky eye, and works beautifully with so many lip liner shades too, depending on how you’d like to contort the colour. As this shade is so light, it needs to be worn with a lip liner, with my favourites being Iconic Nude (Charlotte Tilbury) and Whirl (MAC Cosmetics).
SUPERMODEL (MATTE REVOLUTION)
A stunning shade that looks seductive and classy at the same time. It’s almost like Very Victoria’s older sister – with a rosy brown tone, it has a neutralness about it that makes it so easy to wear, while having a depth that adds mood and mystery. I couldn’t love it more, and it looks amazing with a black dress.
