DIVINE MOON Eau de Parfum by Tory Burch
A beautifully fresh fragrance with a warm depth: Divine Moon is the most recent addition to my collection and instantly became a favourite of mine as soon as I sprayed the sample. With gentle citrus and rhubarb top notes, honey and Lady of the Night heart notes, and almond milk and sandalwood base notes, Divine Moon is light, refreshing, and delicate, while being warm, soothing and subtly sweet. I absolutely love it, however, it’s lasting power isn’t brilliant so it’s a fragrance you will have to reapply throughout the day.
SÍ Eau de Parfum by Giorgio Armani
Sí is a stunning fragrance that is loved by so many people. Soft and fresh, yet warm and rich, Sí lasts all day long on the skin with a beautiful vanilla hue. I remember staying at one of my friend’s apartments – she came out of her room and immediately I asked her what she was wearing, and it was Sí. I couldn’t believe how incredible it smelt, and it instantly went on my wishlist. With top notes of blackcurrant liqueur, heart notes of rose de mai absolute and freesia, and base notes of patchouli and oak moss, Sí is a beautiful, seductive fragrance that oozes elegance. With a hue of honey, I couldn’t love it more.
ALLURE Eau de Parfum by Chanel
Allure is a firm favourite in our family. With an initial hit of zingy mandarin mixed with the softness of rose, this fragrance is a spring and summer must-have. With base notes of vanilla, Allure has a warmth that grounds this fresh and fruity fragrance, and it lasts for hours on the skin. It’s youthful, yet sophisticated, and happens to be my mum’s go-to scent. Coming in an elegant glass bottle, the fragrance is the most gorgeous amber colour, making the product both summer-esque in terms of visual aesthetics and scent.
NECTARINE BLOSSOM & HONEY Eau de Parfum by Jo Malone
A beautiful fragrance adored by the newest it-girl Sofia Richie, Nectarine Blossom & Honey is an incredibly unique scent. With a top note of cassis (blackcurrants), a heart note of acacia honey, and a base note of peach, this beautifully velvety soft, smooth and sweet fragrance has a gentle crisp edge, allowing it to be light and feminine. To me this fragrance encapsulates the essence of spring and summer fruits, and immediately reminds me of warm summer days.
TEASE Eau de Parfum by Victoria’s Secret
Ok, so this one is a bit of an honoury mention. Back when I was a teenager I was absolutely obsessed with this fragrance, so much so that it became my signature scent when I was at college, and all my friends wanted to use it. I’m nearly 25 now, and over the past few years I’ve tried to find a more ‘grown up’ version of this gorgeously fresh scent, and I’ve never been able to find it. Which means, to this day, it has been a constant feature in my fragrance collection for nearly ten years, I continue to wear it all the time, and I still get compliments whenever I do. With notes of white gardenia, anjou pear and black vanilla, it’s fresh, light, crisp, sweet, delicate, and warm all at the same time. It’s amazing – if you haven’t tried it, you should!
SOLEIL BLANC Eau de Toilette by Tom Ford
A citrus and floral scent that encapsulates summer in one spray. With a mix of Jasmine, Pistachio and Patchouli, alongside Ylang Ylang, Orange Flower and Bergamot, Soleil Blanc is zingy and fresh, with an amber warmth to its base. With hues of vanilla mixed with the crispness of the florals, it’s a classic scent adored by so many. It’s incredibly strong though, even in the Eau de Toilette version, so a little goes a long way and it lasts for ages on the skin.
