Patrick Ta as a beauty brand isn’t the most well-known one out there – but it should be. With a stunning range of products, including silky smooth blushes and lipsticks, Patrick Ta’s range should be a part of everybody’s makeup collection. Let me take you through my favourite products…

MAJOR DIMENSION EYESHADOW PALETTE
This is my favourite eyeshadow palette I own – and possibly of all time. Since my skin is so fair, the majority of ‘neutral’ eyeshadows pull warm on me and look quite orange. This palette is the true definition of warm neutral – the warm undertones are there but they’re not ORANGE. The matte shadows blend beautifully and effortless with no patchiness whatsoever. The shimmers are gorgeous and can be worn as a sheen of sparkle or as an intense wash. The formula is soft and buildable, and the two cream shades on the far left are wonderful to work with well, sheering out and blending with ease. Chef’s kiss.
MAJOR DIMENSION ROSE II EYESHADOW PALETTE
Again, a stunning palette with the same beautiful formulas as the original. But this time we’re given an array of stunning rose shades that are super wearable, some for everyday makeup and others for more glam occasions. The shimmers are multidimensional in tone, and are all so flattering whatever eye colour you have. I can’t rave about these palettes more. I can’t wait for Patrick Ta to release more.
MAJOR GLOW LIP SHINE
This product lives in my handbag. With an ultra-hydrating, non-sticky formula, this gloss is the perfect product to have on you at all times for a quick fix. Given its shimmering quality, it adds a little bit of glamour to what is a simple makeup product. My go-to shade is ‘She’s Expensive’, purely because it’s clear and goes with absolutely every makeup look you could possibly come up with.
MAJOR GLOW SOFTENING LIP MASQUE
This product is my holy grail lip treatment. It’s by far the most effective lip balm that I’ve ever tried. With a thick and ultra-creamy texture, the hydration it provides lasts and lasts throughout the day. I particularly love to wear it overnight as a treatment, as it leave your lips feeling incredibly soft. Its only downside is that I wish it came in a squeeze tube, as currently it only comes in a pot which requires either a brush or your fingers to get the product out. Other than that, for me, it’s perfect. Just watch out for the mint sensation if that’s not your thing.
MONOCHROME MOMENT SILKY LIP CREME
I never thought that I was a liquid lip person until I came across these. With a huge amount of pigmentation and a silky smooth texture, they can both be worn as a luscious cream or a semi-matte stain, with the latter being my preference. Unlike many liquid lipsticks on the market, these don’t feel dry or look dry on the lips either. Unfortunately, currently the shade range only includes four light to medium nude colours, which means they aren’t necessarily going to work on deeper skin tones. Given how amazing the formula is, I’d expect Patrick Ta to increase the collection in time.
MONOCHROME MOMENT VELVET BLUSH
The Monochrome Moment Velvet Blushes were the products which made me fall in love with Patrick Ta’s brand. Coming in four beautiful shades, there’s an option for everybody. But its main selling point is the formula, which is buttery smooth and firmly pressed, lending itself to be appropriate for all skin types and concerns. Without the presence of a powdery texture, the formula doesn’t exacerbate texture or lift coverage from foundation and concealer. My favourite shade is ‘She’s Seductive’ which is a gorgeous browny-rose.
PRECISION LIP CRAYON
Generally lip liners are designed to look like pencils. While this helps to create a sharp and perfectly defined outline, it can be a little tedious when it comes to covering the entire lip with product evenly. Patrick Ta’s Precision Lip Crayons have been designed with a rectangular shape, meaning you can outline and fill in your lips at the same time. Super simple and easy, and it comes in a variety of gorgeous shades.
MAJOR HEADLINES MATTE SUEDE LIPSTICK
When it comes to matte lipsticks, I’m very picky. I don’t want them to be too dry, I don’t want them to accentuate texture or settle into the fine lines of my lips, and I want them to be as smooth as they can possibly be. The beautiful deep blue-red shade That’s Why She’s Late does all this for me. It’s absolutely stunning. However, the colour Oh She’s Single, a peachy nude, unfortunately doesn’t work for me. However, given how many of Patrick Ta’s products I adore, it’s no big deal whatsoever, and I can’t wait to see what else he launches in the future.
