If there was ever a brand that creates an aura of luxury, elegance and class, Victoria Beckham Beauty ticks all the boxes. With sleek packaging and timeless formulas, the brand has earned itself a reputation for being one of the best for natural everyday makeup. After releasing their now-iconic lip definers in a selection of neutral tones, they immediately became firm favourites amongst the beauty community – but, are they really that good? Let me give you my review…

APPLICATION, TEXTURE & COLOURS
If there’s one thing Victoria Beckham is known for, it’s a nude lip, and so it was no surprise to see her brand release six beautiful neutral shades. The colour range sees a light peach and a classic beige nude, all the way down to a caramel tan and rich chestnut, giving everybody an option depending on their skin tone and shade preference. My favourite shades have to be 02, the industry-loved neutral beige brown, and 03, a pink mauve that’s perfect for people like me who have a natural rosy hue to their lips.
The texture of the formula is nothing short of incredible. It’s soft while having enough resistance and firmness to control pigment and have a clean application that’s still easy to blend. With every lip definer you purchase on their website, Victoria Beckham Beauty offer the ability to purchase a brand-new sharpener as well – all you have to do is unselect the box if you wish to purchase the liner by itself. I think this is a great touch, as sharpeners are one of those items I tend to always lose just as I need to use one. While some lip definers are incredibly easy to break while sharpening, I’ve never had any issue like that with the Victoria Beckham Beauty formula.
LONGEVITY & COMFORT
As the formula has an excellent combination of creamy softness and the firmness required for precise application, they are very comfortable and last pretty well on the lips during the day, albeit not the longest out of all the formulas I’ve ever tried. However, as lip liners are so easy to reapply and take up little to no room in a handbag, it doesn’t bother me one bit that I may have to reapply one or twice during the day and into the evening.
PACKAGING & PRICE
The packaging is as simple as it comes. With a sleek and simple black design with gold foiled lettering and a base colour coded to match the shade of the definer itself, it looks classic and effortless without looking underdone. The lid is good quality and doesn’t break easily like those from other brands, and I love the fact that you have the option to purchase a sharpener for no additional cost with every definer you buy. The sharpener itself is made with excellent quality too, allowing you to keep your definer in tip-top condition without any risk of breakage.
Personally, while of course you can obtain an amazingly formulated lip liner for less money, I do think for £24 the Victoria Beckham Beauty ones are worth the expense. They last a long time, and with the colours being classic shades that you could easily wear every single day, it’s a beauty investment worth your while. A true handbag staple, as they say.
