LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW BRONZING CREAM by Chanel
An iconic product worth every part of the reputation it holds. The Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream has become a staple in a plethora of beauty fanatic’s vanity cases. With a lightweight, gel-cream texture, it blends effortlessly across the skin, setting into your foundation and concealer with ease. Coming in three shades, you can find the most suitable option for your skin tone. I use the lightest colour, 390 Soleil Tan Bronze, which has a beautiful richness. With a buildable formula, it can be applied more sheerly, or layered for a more pigmented look.
AIRBRUSH BRONZER by Charlotte Tilbury
If you prefer a powder bronzer formula over a cream, my favourite recommendation would be the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer. With an incredibly firmly pressed formula, the Airbrush Bronzer is designed to start sheer and be built up in fine layers. It’s super smooth, easy to blend and melts into the skin. My go-to shade is Fair, which has a beautiful and flattering olive undertone, which is perfect for very light skin. I can also get away with the shade Medium during the summer months.
‘SHE’S SINCERE’ MONOCHROME MOMENT VELVET BLUSH by Patrick Ta
Nothing compliments a golden or bronze makeup look than a peach-toned blush. For me, I much prefer matte powder blushes, but I still want them to look smooth and radiant on the skin, rather than texture-enhancing and flat. One of my favourite formulas is the Velvet Blush by Patrick Ta, which is an intensely firmly pressed powder formula that contains plant-derived moisturisers and micronised pigments to add the most subtle luminosity to the skin and allow the product to blend effortlessly. The shade I’d recommend for golden and bronze makeup would be She’s Sincere, a soft peach.
‘NUDE GLOW’ DIOR FOREVER COUTURE LUMINIZER by Dior
One of the most adored highlighters in the beauty world: the Dior Forever Couture Luminizer in the shade Nude Glow will always be a staple in so many people’s makeup bags. Loved by celebrities and models alike, the Nude Glow highlighter has a beautiful bronzey tone that isn’t too dark. It blends beautifully into bronzers, and adds a stunning radiance to the complexion. I much prefer to wear highlighters more subtly, and for that I use a fluffy brush (such as the 137 by MAC) to disperse the powder across my cheekbone.
‘ICE ME OUT’ KYLIGHTER ILLUMINATING POWDER by Kylie Cosmetics
If you’d prefer a lighter and more icy highlighter shade that will compliment golden and bronze makeup looks, the Kylighter Illuminating Powder by Kylie Cosmetics in the shade Ice Me Out is a beautiful option. The formula is lightweight and easy to blend, and adds a gorgeous glow to the skin. With a subtle golden undertone it’s perfect for more fair complexions who still want to achieve the golden-bronze makeup look.
‘FOIL’ SCATTERED LIGHT GLITTER EYESHADOW by Hourglass
My favourite way to create a golden-bronze makeup look is through eyeshadow. I almost always lean towards simple everyday makeup, but often with a twist. Regularly I will incorporate a beautiful and fine glitter topper, or a hue of a more bold colour into my go-to makeup routine. One of my favourite products to do this with is the iconic Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow by Hourglass in the shade Foil, a stunning warm gold. As a fine glitter eyeshadow, the smallest amount glides across the eyelids like fairy dust, and looks incredible when reflecting in the sun or in low level lighting. The formula can be worn sheerly or with full pigmentation.
BRONZE PALETTE by Natasha Denona
Your secret weapon to achieving every single bronze eyeshadow look possible: The Bronze Palette by Natasha Denona contains 15 beautiful and wearable warm golden, copper and bronze shades that allow you to create both natural and bold looks. With an array of smooth matte formulas and creamy shimmery shades, the Bronze Palette offers yellow-based, orange-based and red-based bronze tones which can all be worn and blended together. It’s a brilliant eyeshadow palette for beginners, thanks to the pure quality of the formulas, and is a summer makeup must-have.
MAJOR DIMENSION EYESHADOW PALETTE by Patrick Ta
If you want a beautiful eyeshadow palette that you can use everyday, that has warm tones but is more on the neutral side of the colour spectrum, then look no further than the Major Dimension Eyeshadow Palette by Patrick Ta. With beautifully smooth, creamy and blendable matte and shimmer formulas, this palette is an amazing option for those who want to achieve the bronze look but don’t want their makeup to look too warm. It’s one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes of all time.
‘COPPER CHARGE’ LUXURY PALETTE by Charlotte Tilbury
While big eyeshadow palettes with lots of colours and lots of options suit some people, others just want something small and simple. My favourite quad eyeshadow palettes have to be those from Charlotte Tilbury, with the Copper Charge Luxury Palette being my first recommendation for golden and bronze makeup looks. With four gorgeous warm tones, the quad contains a rich matte shade, two metallic tones, and a stunning shimmer topper that adds a beautiful and subtle golden sparkle to natural eye makeup looks. It’s super easy to apply and looks fantastic during the summer months.
‘DESERT HAZE’ LUXURY PALETTE by Charlotte Tilbury
If you’re after a small eyeshadow palette that will help you achieve the golden-bronze makeup look, but prefer a matte formula, then my recommendation would be the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in Desert Haze. With four stunning shades, these matte eyeshadows are perfect for everyday makeup, and can be worn alone or blended together to create a small handful of summer-esque makeup looks. The shadows are soft, easy to blend, and last well throughout the day. Like with all eyeshadows, I’d always recommend an eyeshadow primer underneath, with my favourite being the NARS Smudge-Proof Eyeshadow Base.
