AIRBRUSH BRONZER by Charlotte Tilbury
The Airbrush Bronzer is one of the best bronzer formulas to exist in the beauty world. Thanks to the incredibly firmly-pressed powder formula, this bronzer is super smooth and silky on the skin. It never looks muddy, it never looks patchy, and it certainly never looks unflattering. Upon application, the pigmentation starts sheer, but can be layered to your desired level of intensity. I personally don’t find this to be a negative, as it means it’s easy to have either a light wash of colour on those ‘no-makeup makeup’ days, or a more sculpted and bronzed look for those golden-glow, sun-kissed moments. The formula is also incredibly easy to blend and has a blurring effect on the skin.
Coming in four stunning shades, the Airbrush Bronzer is flattering on so many skin tones. Although my skin is fair (for reference I mix the shades 3 and 4 of the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation) I can wear either the shade Fair or Medium, depending on how much colour I want to add to my complexion on any given day. The shade Fair is a beautiful bronzer for fair skin tones, as its undertone is more yellow and olive-based rather than orange, which allows the powder to be warm but not unflattering on the lightest of complexions. The Airbrush Bronzer is also a brilliant option for makeup beginners and it’s super easy to control pigmentation and application.
DIOR FOREVER NATURAL BRONZE
Another beautifully smooth and silky powder bronzer that is packed with pigmentation, easy to blend, and which never looks patchy or muddy on the skin. I love this bronzer on days when I want to get my makeup done fast, as it’s so quick to apply and instantly looks great. Coming in eight shades, my favourite is 02 Light Bronze, which has a slight peach undertone, so for me it pairs as a bronzer and a subtle blush all in one, which allows my skin to immediately look youthful and sun-kissed in a flash. On days I want to look more sculpted than bronzed, but still want to add warmth to my complexion, I go for the shade 01 Fair Bronze instead. Also, as this bronzer is packed with so much pigment, I tend to apply it without worrying too much about the amount that is being applied, because I tend go over it with the same beauty sponge that I’ve used to apply my foundation and concealer with. This both aids blending and helps to tone the bronzer down a fraction. I love how my skin looks when I do this technique.
